Tell us about your background in physiotherapy.

I am a physiotherapist with four years of experience working across both public and private hospital settings. I started my career in a public hospital, where I worked primarily in stroke rehabilitation, helping patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence after neurological injuries. Over the past three years in private hospitals, I have expanded my experience in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and spinal conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation.

What are your interests/areas of expertise in physiotherapy?

My clinical interests are in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, particularly the assessment and management of neck pain, back pain, and upper and lower limb conditions. I regularly work with patients experiencing acute injuries, persistent pain, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical recovery. I believe that successful rehabilitation goes beyond simply treating pain—it is about understanding the underlying cause, restoring movement, and helping people return to the activities that are important to them. Every patient is different, so I enjoy tailoring treatment plans using a combination of education, hands-on therapy, and exercise to suit each individual's goals and lifestyle.

What is the most fulfilling part of this job?

The most rewarding part of being a physiotherapist is seeing patients regain their confidence through movement. Whether it's someone returning to work without pain, getting back to the gym, or simply being able to enjoy everyday activities again, I find it incredibly fulfilling to support people throughout their recovery and celebrate their progress with them.

What are your personal interests?

Outside of work, I enjoy playing American football and keeping active. Having undergone ACL reconstruction surgery myself and recovered from rib fractures sustained through sport, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of rehabilitation. These experiences have given me a genuine understanding of what it feels like to recover from injury—not only physically, but mentally as well. I aim to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.
