Tell us about your background in physiotherapy.
Greg is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong foundation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, graduating from the University of British Columbia with a First Class degree in Kinesiology before completing my MSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Liverpool. Greg’s journey in physiotherapy has been shaped by his diverse clinical experiences across stroke rehabilitation, respiratory and ICU care, geriatric medicine, and neuromuscular rehabilitation, giving him a well-rounded approach to patient care.
While Greg is well-equipped to treat all musculoskeletal conditions, given his personal training background, his passion lies in thinking outside the box when it comes to exercise and rehabilitation. He believes that rehabilitation should never be generic; each patient requires a tailored approach that challenges them appropriately while building confidence and strength. Whether guiding a post-operative patient back to sport or helping an older adult regain functional mobility, he focuses on designing progressive, engaging programmes that keep patients motivated and on track.
As an Ironman and Hyrox competitor, Greg understands the athletic mindset and the psychological hurdles that come with injury and recovery. With training in spinal manipulation, sports massage, and Mulligan techniques, he combines hands-on manual therapy with creative, evidence-based exercise programmes. Greg’s goal is simple: to empower his patients to move better, recover fully, and return to the activities they love—whether that's completing a full ironman or simply enjoying a walk around the harbour.
