Tell us about your background in physiotherapy.

Hazel graduated from the University of Birmingham and went on to complete her MSc in Physiotherapy at the University of East Anglia.

Following graduation, she worked within the NHS in London, gaining broad clinical experience through rotations in musculoskeletal, trauma and orthopaedics, critical care, and stroke and neurological rehabilitation.

Alongside her NHS work, Hazel also practised in a private clinic as a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor, where she developed a strong interest in rehabilitative Pilates. This experience deepened her understanding of how targeted movement can engage both global and stabilising muscle systems to improve strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

Hazel has completed her APPI Mat Pilates training and integrates Pilates-based rehabilitation into her clinical practice. She adopts a holistic, movement-focused approach, combining hands-on manual therapy with tailored exercise programmes. She has a particular interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, and post-operative rehabilitation, using a thorough, evidence-based assessment to guide her treatment. Her goal is to help patients move better, recover effectively, and return to a pain-free, confident lifestyle.
