Tell us about your background in physiotherapy.
I hold an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland. Since graduating, I have been working in private practice in Brisbane Australia, developing extensive experience in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, I spent three years as a full-time strength and conditioning coach. This unique background allows me to seamlessly integrate evidence-based physiotherapy with active rehabilitation strategies, empowering patients to not only recover from pain and injury but return to the things they love to do—stronger and more resilient.
What are your interests/areas of expertise in physiotherapy?
My clinical interests include the sports & work-related injuries, spinal pain, cervicogenic headaches, and vestibular conditions such as BPPV. Keeping up to date with the latest research, I am passionate about guiding patients through the latest bracing protocols for ACL ruptures, recognising the vital role that quality physiotherapy plays for both conservatively and operatively managed patients.
My treatment approach incorporates hands-on therapy, Clinical Pilates, exercise-based rehabilitation, and end-stage performance training, complemented by ergonomic assessments to support workplace health and empower patients in their daily lives.
What is the most fulfilling part of this job?
I take a patient-centred, goal-oriented approach to care, focusing on reducing pain, restoring function, and optimising performance. There's nothing quite like the moment a patient returns to the things they love—stronger and more resilient than before. Knowing I've played a part in that journey is what drives me every day.
What are your personal interests?
Outside the clinic, I enjoy an active lifestyle through basketball, ultimate frisbee, and rock climbing—particularly bouldering. This personal passion gives me a deeper understanding of the physical demands of sport and daily life, which I bring directly into my clinical practice. I am fluent in English and Mandarin.
